A great colleague is graciously moving on to pursue different adventures. In his exit he reminded me of the wonderful Frank Tyger quote:
Doing what you like is freedom. Liking what you do is happiness.
As stated, I truly believe in happiness as part of the process, not something that will come in the end as a reward. Add the quote and we, that is I, need to do more of what is freely chosen while taking the necessary time-outs to appreciate if and when it is liked as well.
